Phyllis Mensh Brostoff, CISW, and Valerie Stefanich, CISW, co-founded Stowell Associates in 1983. Stowell Associates was the first private professional geriatric care management company in Wisconsin and one of the first in the country. In 1996, Phyllis and Valerie incorporated SelectStaff to provide paraprofessional caregivers to our elderly and disabled adult clients and their families. Phyllis and Valerie are national leaders in the development of professional geriatric care management. Phyllis was a founder of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and in 2009 she was President of the National Board, as well as Past President of the Midwest Chapter Board.
Professional Advisory Committee
The Professional Advisory Committee is composed of experts in a variety of fields that relate to Stowell Associates mission and includes adult children of former agency clients. The Professional Advisory Committee provides advice to Phyllis and Valerie on all important agency policies and initiatives, as well as reviewing the agency's financial condition.
